Looking for buddy in Northern RI/Wrentham, MA area.

HI! Having my Revisions surgery, band to sleeve September 2, 2015 in Boston, but I live in Northern RI. Anyone in my area going through this or has recently gone through it? Looking for someone for support and to be supportive to.

Thanks and good luck to you! :)

. Hi! I am in Providence. I am planning on getting surgery with Dr. Bloomenthal at Roger Williams Medical Center. How was the surgery? How are you? I am excited for you.

Hi there!!

All went really well! Got home yesterday, sipping Water and shakes and doing really great! The pain is very manageable so I'm not using the pain meds as much but it was hard to find a pharmacy that had the pain med in liquid form. If you can, have it filled at the hospital pharmacy. Cvs called 8 other CVSs for me and they finally broke down and called a Rote Aide that had it! ????.

There are only two other things that bother me: the fact that I'm 13lbs heavier than when I went in the hospital and that my hands and legs are so swollen. But I'm told that both issues will remedy themselves in the next few days.

When is your surgery? Are you doing a revision also?

Good luck!

Best regards,

Crash!
