3 weeks out, no weight lost/help

Recommended Posts

Don't stress yourself only on the scale. How are you feeling? I think a good sign is that you went and joined a gym and you said that you worked out. These are positive things. Let yourself feel those triumphant moments that you weren't doing before that you want to do now. The weight will come off. Don't stress about it!

I am so depressed. I had the sleeve 8/3, I had lost 16lbs in 3 weeks from doing the preop diet. I do not own a scale, mostly because I do not want to get obsessed, and I know I will weigh 1-2 times a day if I have one, so I rather not. Anyway my first post op last week, I only lost 1/2 lb and was upset, and surgeon said it's nothing to be concerned about as in the hospital you usually gain from all the fluids. Anyway I weighed today, a week later and it was the same. I am so strict with the diet, have not cheated at all, and no weight lost, how could this be. I am even freaking out a little. Is this just gonna be another failure, it took me 3 years to get up the nerve to do the surgery. Please has anyone else experienced this, should I be worried, thanks

The dreaded 3 week weight loss stall! I went through the same thing, and had no loss for 22 days.. It will go! Now I'm down 80!

I am happy to hear abut the three week stall. I am at that phase. Now I won't be frustrated. But I am happy with the weigh loss so far. Down 27 lbs at my 1. Week check up. ????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
