Between the oatmeal, the flatbread, and the tortilla I think it sounds like you're having a lot of carbs for one month out.

That's a lot of food I can only hold down

1 pudding

1cheese

6 oz of broth

At *1 month* out? Where's your Protein? I'm a little over 3 weeks out, I can eat 2oz portions at a time. Today I had 2oz of salmon and two 8oz Premier Protein shakes (because I was on the run all day, otherwise I would have tried to get more real food in). Yesterday I had 2oz cottage cheese for lunch and 2oz tuna for dinner with a shake for Breakfast and a smoothie for an evening snack.< /p>

Inner suffer girl

For who me ?

If so I talked to my doc and nutritionist about it and I sip on Protein Water Isopure too

I was actually responding to the OP.

But, for you, keep working at it. It is so critical that you get in enough Protein.< /p>

Today I am 5 weeks out.

Breakfast: Protein Shake after workout

Lunch: Low Carb Crab Cake ( I made a recipe) they are 3oz each before being cooked

Snack: Crab cake or 2oz of Turkey

Dinner: Swai Fillet 3oz

After Dinner/Evening Walk: Protein shake

I can barely get that amount of protein in at a time. I do not eat all of it all the time.

I really think you need to drop that bread and carbs one month out, you are not getting enough protein in, and with those carbs you are going to have a hard time losing weight.

At one month out I could eat 5 oz of steak or chicken or pork with a small salad or some other veggies. I think the carbs in your deal are really high.

I don't snack - I have Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I try to have 25-30 grams of Protein for each meal minimum. Depends on what I eat.

I am 4 months out and am eating about 2.5 oz of food at a time at the most. At one month, I was doing about 1.5 oz. I do 3 meals per day, 1 Protein shake per day and 1 - 2 small Protein Snacks per day. I cut out almost all carbs though. I find that they fill you up very fast and don't give you any of the protein that you need. Focus on lean meats, cheese, nuts, and Protein Bars.

I am 2 weeks out today and seriously wondered if the doctor had even removed anything during surgery! I had absolutely no pain, no gas and it seems that I can eat/drink quite a bit. Haven't had a problem with Water either. Maybe that will slow down when I'm move to the soft foods next week?

Uh, yes! liquid goes through. When you eat something with just a little weight to it, you will be shocked!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
