I am seeking someone for mutual support in the Sacramento/Davis, California area. I am a 50's woman with a lower BMi, 5'3" seeking an excellent and experienced Bariatric surgeon who takes Medi-Cal? If not, I will be happy to purchase insurance that has excellent bariatric coverage. Tell me your stories. Lead me to a good support group in Sacramento area as well ? Or to good insurance ? Best surgeon?

I am a mature woman who has been to Mexico(all good results and experiences) for a Lap Band in 2008; then removed in 2010. So, I have been through all this before. Really need the name of a surgeon in Sacramento or Bay area. If too many hoops involved, I will return to Mexico. But I prefer California. Thank you.

I am from Sacramento, I am 3 weeks post-op from the RNY. I have kaiser insurance and my surgeon Dr. Gary Grinburg was fantastic. My incisions are already healed and I am doing great!
