Hello everyone! I stumbled onto this site and it looks like a great resource! My operation date is July 19th (16 days!!!!) and I'm currently on three weeks of only optifast...totally sucks! If you have any threads that you think are ABSOLUTELY INTEGRAL, please let me know. This looks like a great forum, and I'm excited to be a part of it

Welcome and congratulations on your surgery date! I think this is a great place for information and support. The threads in the General lap band area are all important, I think.

You also may want to hook up with the July 2007 bandsters. I'm sure there's a thread going. Our bandster community has grown so much that it seems like we're forming little villages of support, so find a group that you connect with, either by surgery date or age or activities (like the banded bikers!)
