I am on puréed and this is what's for dinner-okay to eat if I mash it up?

I can't speak for your surgeon, but I know if I had asked, mine would have said Hell NO!

Mine would also say the same...protein and good veggies...starches only if you have room after and I never do. Tater tots is a BAD choice!

Tater tots? Are you kidding? Did you get an eating plan from your doctor? What does it say about starches? If you didn't receive any information, call them ask why the heck not?!! I'm at my goal weight, and I STILL won't touch the "white stuff" (potatoes, bread, rice, or pasta). Good luck!

My NUT has me taking in 1/4-1/2 cup mashed potatoes on my puréed diet-this isn't bad right? I'm assuming she knows what she's doing

I would follow what your nutritionist tells you- everybody's guidelines are different. I'm not allowed potatoes, bread, etc., which is why I said that in my previous post.

I was allowed this on my puréed too but only during that period until I was on reg food and was told to make it very thin

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
