What you wish you would have known

Hi,

I'm Jackie. New to the site....I got my surgery date yesterday for August 5th! Super excited! Starting my two week pre-op plan tomorrow. Any words of advice? Anything you didn't know before hand that you wish you would have?

thanks!

I wish I'd known how weak and tired I felt after surgery. I wish I'd known how hard it would be to poop without taking a Fiber supplement. I wish I'd known that I'd have bad heartburn and need to take Prilosec every day.

I would have been better prepared had I known, but I wouldn't change anything!
