It is fine...if you are able to get your daily intake accomplished then begin to work on your protein amounts

after day 3, fluids were never an issue....If I have haven't eaten I can drink as much Water as I want. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones...my surgeon on the first 2 post op visits was only concerned about liquids. He told me about 20% of his patients are like me, basically no restriction on fluids, good restriction on solid foods.

I am day 3 Post op and I too can drink all that I want without pain. I do sip pretty frequently. Also, this morning I was able to eat thinned greek yogurt for Breakfast. I probably should have measured, but I ate the entire 5.3 oz container in the course of an hour. For lunch, I had butternut squash Soup, about 1/3 cup, then for dinner 4 T of Broccoli Soup. Also sipped on Protein shake in between.

I suppose I was so worried about dehydration and feeling weak from lack of protein that I remained focused and intent. Hopefully I'm not doing anything to hurt myself! But just to be safe, tomorrow I will measure everything... can't be too careful!
