I finally lost my first 50 lbs. I'm 3 mos post op. It was a struggle because I kept stalling left and right. I hope the next 50 lbs comes off easier than the first 50 lbs. Still gotta lose 112 lbs to reach my surgeons goal for me, and 132 lbs to get to my own personal goal.

sw 342, cw 292, gw (surgeon) 180, my gw 160, height 5'8

@@leag78,

Congratulations! You have made terrific progress! You do have to work so hard for every single pound.

And some people call this the easy way out! Hah, a lot they know!

Good luck and I do hope it is easier to lose your next 50!

Fantastic job!!! Do you have a 50lb goal celebration planned? I plan to get a mani/pedi-which is something I normally don't spend money on but will when I reach 50!

I never thought about cerebrating my 50 lbs lost, but that is a good idea for every 50 lbs I'm gonna treat myself to a mani/pedi. Thanks for the tip!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
