Met with my surgeon and got a surgery date today!

After 6 months of all the insurance hoop jumping I finally got to meet with my surgeon today. I went in with the thought of having the Sleeve done but, after talking with him he thinks having the bypass would be Best. Do to the heartburn I suffer from. Either way I'm excited and can't wait for this new chapter in my life to begin. My surgary date is August 4th????

Congrats! ???? What a banner day! I'm so happy for you.

I also went in wanting the sleeve but switched to bypass for the same reason. Mine's on 07/29.
