Congratulations on your weight loss so far! I need to get a scale, its one of the things I forgot to pick up before my surgery! My 1 week follow up is on Tuesday and I'm curious to see if I lost anything yet. ????

Good looking out!! In going to check this out.

@@Deanna Schultz I had surgery the same day. Other than the first week, I've been feeling GREAT! With lots of energy, eating fine, no food causes me any trouble (on soft food). Up until this weekend that is.

It was really hot and humid out, I worked in the yard two days, and I probably got over-heated and maybe dehydrated. I don't know if it's related to that or not, but for the last two days, I have gotten dizzy every time I stand up and I have no energy. What's more, my stitches/stomach hurt for the first time in at least two weeks. I don't know what is going on, but it's worrisome! I keep wondering if I am bleeding internally or tore my stitches or something. So, I know how it feels to feel drained and tired and unable to get the liquids in!

Hello guys how's everyone doing? Im doing k getting tired of drinking broth & protein drink I still have one more week until I move to a different phase. I still have my stitches which have been bothering me a lot and will be removed this Thursday???? at the same time I have been noticed that I have been easily getting tired idk even though i walk 20/30 minutes.

Hey everyone!! Surgery was 8/31 and so far so good. Minimal pain and no vomiting. Yay! My followup is tomorrow so no idea bout loss. I started at 282 on 5/1, then on day of surgery I was 263.3, so who knows. I'm very tired of a liquid diet. Should start puree next week but I'm ready for real food. I have cheated a tiny bit with no known issues. All soft stuff. Anyway, keep chugging along. I'll keep ya posted. ☆

  • 1 month later...

Do not buy an abdominal binder. This could cause sweating and bacteria buildup at your incision sites and could cause infection. Just use a pillow to push against your tummy and do lots of walking. It's so important to start moving right after surgery. I was feeling the best out of the 5 of us that stayed the night of my surgery. Listen to those nurses. Walk and drink (sip). Good luck!! :)
