  7. Wow! I didn't realize there were so many of us posting so much! 4 million??!!!?? Crazy! Thanks for creating this massive support group/support system! I do not believe there is a topic untouched on here...which is so super helpful. I don't need to look anywhere else.
  8. My feet have definitely gotten smaller! I was a 9.5/10 and now I am closer to an 8.5/9. I think most of it has to do with the width of my feet but I do believe they have gotten smaller altogether. Yippee!

  12. I am in Summerlin as well. I was sleeved on 8/14/15. Doing well but would love to start meeting with others in our area for additional support.

  14. Do not buy an abdominal binder. This could cause sweating and bacteria buildup at your incision sites and could cause infection. Just use a pillow to push against your tummy and do lots of walking. It's so important to start moving right after surgery. I was feeling the best out of the 5 of us that stayed the night of my surgery. Listen to those nurses. Walk and drink (sip). Good luck!!
  15. Hi Miss Jessica! Have you had your surgery yet? It's great that you're trying to start early if not, but rest assured your body will tell you after your surgery. I made multiple alarms on my phone at first, to remind me when to eat. Maybe try that...and be sure you're eating only a little and still drink plenty of fluids. Good luck and keep us posted.
  16. Sw: 258 8/14/15 Cw: 219 10/15/15 I love the sleeve!! I am getting my life back! And, my kids are getting their mom back! Thanks for sharing everyone! Life is so good!!
  17. I'm in Summerlin! Would love to find a group that I could exercise with or share recipes! I'm not great at cooking so it's been a bit hard to learn along the way, as well as relearning a lot of habits. I have a great family and friends but I think it's nice to speak with others on the same journey that relate.
  18. I am scheduled for my surgery August 14th. I'm super excited but getting a bit anxious as well. I'm going shopping this weekend to be sure I have all the liquids, Vitamins, Proteins, etc. I'll need.
