female topic- cycle, emotional flare ups

Recommended Posts

Morning,

I know my cycle is off and I knew to expect it..but what I was not expecting was PMS like emotions, irritation etc. I'm eating well, sleeping well, and exercising most days...and yet for no reason my temper flares up. Has anyone else run into this? It's one thing when I know when it's going to happen but i feel like this has jumped up out of the blue a few times this morning.

Yes, I am usually an endlessly patient person, and I've noticed since surgery my emotions are much more volatile. I cry, get angry, but also much happier than I used to be pre-surgery. I believe it's the change in hormone levels.

Thank you Madmax- I am seeing my doctor on the 30th and I will definitely be asking them about this.

I have definitely experienced this too. I seem to remember reading that estrogen gets released from the fat stores as the fat burns off, so maybe we're having hormonal surges? hang in there!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
