Vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain! What do I do?

Help! I've had bad diarrhea and vomiting for about 24 hours now. It's to the point where I can't drink anything without it coming back up moments later. Im also having pain in my gut and legs. It's too early to call my surgeon and I know he won't be able to see me today. What should I do? Should I just go to the er? I'm one month post op by the way. Thanks in advance!

when does the doctor get in? are you there alone? If you are alone I would go to the ER now before you get to where you cant get yourself there safely...hospital will contact WLS doctor.

The last time I had bad diarrhea and vomiting, I passed out twice, hitting my head on the tub twice. I ended up in the ER for a CT scan and fluids. You are not that far out from surgery to be brave and stoic about this. If you are alone, I would get to the ER now if you are not dizzy. If you are dizzy and alone, call 911 for an ambulance to get you there. If a driver is in the house, have them get you there now. Being tough is not worth double concussion.

Thanks. I not alone and have a call into my surgeon. He should be calling within about an hour. I'm going to get ready to go to the er as I think that's what he will direct me to do.
