:hungry: Isn't it fun saving money on food? Since lap banders can't eat much we can spend more money on new clothes.

Is anyone having a hard time going out to eat? I have found that if you tell the waitress you have had lap band surgery abd aren't able to eat much they will allow you to order off the childrens menu.

Here's my day. I just got my fourth fill, and I'm having a bit of a hard time adjusting.

Breakfast: 1/4 cup cottage cheese

Lunch: Trader Joes Indian Fare Bengali Lentils (1/2 package)

Dinner: Boca Burger with one slice cheese. 1/4 cup frozen blueberries.

Does this seem ok?

I eat what I want about 25% of what I used to eat. I enjoy food way too much to deny myself of all pleasures. My body hasn't told me what it won't digest yet. Oh..and I don't exercise either. I figure right when my body tells me what I can't eat, I'll probably have time to exercise then. *grin*

Lets try that again!

Easy is best for me.

Breakfast - coffee w/ff flavored cream & instant oatmeal

lunch - hard boiled egg and grapes

dinner - Hormel's new "compleat" meal - chicken, gravy, and mashed potatoes - only 220 calories, 3g fat, and 21g Protein.

Snacks - as usual - sf popsicles - they keep me sane

Go Bandsters!

Interesting...I like seeing what others are eating.

Here's what I had yesterday:

Breakfast: Slim Fast Low Carb Choc. shake with a Bananna

Lunch: Half slice oat bread-toasted with 2oz Muenster cheese

Dinner: 4 oz chicken and 1/2 c. broccolini

Dessert: Two tablespoons of no sugar ice cream.

This morning: Slim Fast Low Carb Choc. shake with a Bananna and 1 teaspoon of crunchy Peanut Butter...in the Magic Bullet.

Funny when I was in liquid only stage...I was getting so tired of the Slim Fast shakes. Now...I am craving them! Sometimes I have shakes for two of my meals.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
