LOL, I never thought that much about the "coconuts", I guess I can always go to be with a bra but I'd be uncomfortable with a panty girdle on holding my big muffin top in.

I tease and say that for me to buy a bra I would have to roll them up to put the bra on. Or when i'm bent over and look down at them I feel like someone should just come and milk me...they look like utters...got milk...lol

Sorry guys...been MIA for a while. I haven't been doing so hot lately. I am going to try to do better. I'll post my food later today.

It's okay Georgia, I'm not here to judge, just to be accountable to myself. We are in this together and we CAN and we WILL get through this journey.

Be blessed,

Gloria

Congrats on the Tummy Tuck, tlamb.

I want one so bad ,but can't afford it. I asked the dr about Lipo and he said that a TT would be better and that he would help me all he could with my insurance co.(BCBS). Is your insurance covering yours? Hope I'm not being too nosey.

Thanks! I cant wait! Unfortunately I do not have insurance anymore. BCBS covered my lapband when I had it (I was still on my parents Ins.) My tummy tuck (extended) is $9030 for EVERYTHING, and I will be paying that in cash  But I am being positive and I keep telling myself that it is all worth it..If I have to be poor as crap for the next year..well I will have a flat tummy :blushing:

Yes, BCBS paid for my lapband, too. That is really cheap for a complete TT. I haven't really been pricing them, but I would love, love, and did I say love? to find a dr to do mine for that price. I wish you all the best and you won't be lacking (poor) in anything except the tummy part. LOL

Well I decided to have a late lunch so that I hopefully wouldn't need to eat until dinner, had a ham and cheese toasted sandwich, cut into quarters ate about a quarter and realised it wasn't going anywhere fast *rolls eyes* so after being stuck for about half an hour had a cup of tea and then ate some noodles for lunch about 11.15 so that's all I've had so far, as for dinner no clue yet.

Hi everyone! Thought I'd let ya'll know that I have a leak in my band, UGH!!!. I've been thinking I had a leak for over a year now. It's a slow one, but it's getting worse. I went to get a fill yesterday and I was missing 1.5cc (in a 4 week span). This explains why I am able to eat like a cow after only a week of restriction following my fills. I go back in 2 weeks to measure again and then I'll know more.

They added 2 cc's yesterday, so I am pretty tight right now. Looks like I'll be on liquids a while.

Hope everyone has a good day!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
