Well, my mini-goal was to lose 50# by August 1st, and I hit it today!!! :juggle: So, I celebrated by having lebanese lunch.....

B - 2 soft-boiled eggs and 1 oz. string cheese

L - 2 small cabbage rolls, approx 1/3 c. steamed zucchini, carrots & green Beans, approx. 1/4 c. chicken & rice (ate mostly chicken), 1 T. of cabbage & wheat, and 1 T. spinach & wheat. (I managed to avoid the baklava)

S - 3 tortilla chips w/about 1 1/2 T. avocado/cheese dip, 3 small slices of cheese, 1 bite-size chunk of pineapple, 2 bite-size raspberry/chocolate bars, about 1/3 c. of white wine. (Office party. All food was very small pieces, but still....)

Went to the gym and worked out HARD for an hour.

D - 4 oz. grilled hamburger w/2 small slices of provolone cheese, a T. FF mayo and a T. ketchup. No bun.

S - Popcorn

I'm going to the lake for the weekend with 10 girlfriends...hopefully I can behave myself! Everyone have a good weekend.

Hello...I have an observation and I need to hear from a few of you so that I can have some clarity. I noticed that most of you eat very little food. Is that because you can't eat more than that because of your fills or you are measuring and will not eat more but could. I hope it is because your fill will not allow you to eat more than that. I received my 3rd fill on Tuesday which brought me to 4.5ccs. I feel some restriction, but not enough to where I am satisfied with the amounts you all eat.

Please respond back. Thanks in advance.

2911, I'm glad you asked, because I have been wondering the same thing for quite awhile now. I wonder if I'm doing something really wrong. I have only had two fills, and really need a third b/c I don't have restriction. I am hungry between meals, and at my meals I can eat up to 1 and 1/2 cups of food. Please don't bash me for that. I'm not overeating -- just eating till full! I would love it if what you are posting is because of being at that sweet spot! Thanks!!! :)

I'd say both actually - there are times when I can't eat more and others where I know I shouldn't and need to have a little more self control - also depends on the amount of time since my last fill.

It also seems like you both are more recently into the process - and I remember it taking several fills before I really started feeling good restriction.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
