Wow where do I start...
I was sleeved on march 16th 2015. BariatricPal did it all from A to Z. Picking up, dropping off from the hospital, airports and the recovery house. You're never alone and you have someone taking care of you 24/7.
Walking after your surgery is sooooo important. I have my own personal liaison, Juan! Juan takes you walking everywhere. All over the beautiful city site seeing!! Woohoo!!.. I absolutely loved that. We got to go to the beach and look at some of their amazing shops.
I found Dr. Zavalza through BariatricsPal Deals. Dr. Z was extremely thorough. He Skyped with me several times to answer any questions or concerns and made my transition to the hospital very easy. The morning of my surgery, I met my doctors and their staff.
Dr Luna is my own personal dietitian. He handles all my follow-up post op consultation. The surgery went great. Virtually painless other than feeling a little groggy and some discomfort from my drain tube. Oh of course gas from the surgery ;-( , discomfort level is different for everyone. I must say it was very minimal discomfort. I made sure to walk walk walk I know that helped me a lot!
I was released two days later after I passed all my tests for the all clear. The doctors had several follow up visits. Both of them came out to see me and make sure I was doing well to send me off with all the information I needed. After hugs and pictures off I went to rediscover my new like and new found freedom.
It was truly a blessing to find this group. I went there all by myself but never felt alone. Thank you so much team BariatricPal for all your hard work!!..
UPDATE I'm coming BACK with my cousin!!! Nothing but the best for my family!! ONLY bararticPal!! Thank you for making one of the biggest decision of my life as smooth as possible...
