anyone know of any surgeons in south florida or central florida that would do a hernia repair on insurance and do gastric sleeve at the same time self pay ? Of course my insurance wont cover my surgery its Obamacare Florida Blue even though its deemed medically necessary by my primary care physician due to diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol and fatty liver. I was hoping this would cut the cost of the gastric sleeve a little bit

Was the self-pay cost reduced at all from your insurance covering the hernia surgery with dr Shillingford? If so how much? I'm considering seeing him as well.
