food stuck in throat?

Hello-- It will be a month on Wed for my sleeve. Lately I'm having a feeling of my food sitting in my throat. Kinda like it could come up. It goes away after a while but is very uncomfortable. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what's going on....Am I eating to much? (usually 1/4 to a little more) not chewing my food well enough? or is it my GERD?

Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks:)

I'm just starting on soft foods and that is my indicator that I'm literally stuffed. Usually that happens around the 2-3 oz mark of whatever I'm eating.

If you had a hernia repair your opening may be a little restricted. You may be eating too soon after drinking. It could be that you are not chewing your food good enough or trying to swallow too much at one time.

I get that feeling when I eat too much. I measure almost everything, keeping it a 2 oz.... One or two bites more and it is just too much for me.
