Advice for selling clothes that are too big, especially tall clothes?

Good Evening,

Does anyone have any tips for selling clothes that are too big?

My issue is that most of my clothes are tall length (both pants and tops) and I'm sure that limits my market.

I have to dress professionally for work so if possible, I would like to at least sell my more expensive work clothes. I took a few things to a plus size consignment shop but the lady literally offered me $3 for a pair of $70 dress pants that were only worn a couple of times, she said since they were tall, they would sit around for a while.

I have also posted a few things on a local FB group for yard sales and again little interest. I am about to just donate everything and at least get a tax deduction.

Any advice or websites I should check out?

Thanks! :D :D

Hi! I, too, am taller and have tons of clothes that I am currently preparing to sell on eBay. It is time consuming, but you will get the most bang for your buck! My summer project is to sell and ship out over 500 items. If I make a profit of $10 each, it will be totally worth it.

eBay's plus size clothing community is on point and the pants you described would sell for 15.00 at least and then charge shipping! Hope this response has helped you!
