Best decision of my life!

  • Popular Post

Hello my name is Kelly, I recently had the gastric sleeve done on January 13th. I was diagnosed with poly cystic ovary syndrome back in 2006 and that is when my weight became such a struggle for me. I have lost 45 pounds so far and feel fantastic!!! I would recommend this surgery to anyone who is considering it.

@@KellyJ1121 I had my surgery Thursday, April 9th. I'm feeling a little better but still having a good bit of trapped gas. How long does this take to work itself out? Also, has anyone had a problem with sharp pains across their chest when they take a drink?

Congrats and best of luck on your new journey!

When I eat or drink to fast I get the sharp pains in my chest. It goes away pretty quick though.

I had that. It was a constriction of my esophagus and it happened for the first couple of weeks post-op until the swelling went down.

I feel the same. I had my sleeve surgery on March 10th. Lost 34 lbs and feel absolutely great. My family dr told me that the sleeve surgery will be the best thing I would do for myself. It's true!!
