Sizes and more sizes!

@@CanyonBaby definitely check the Levi 590's out! If your Kihls doesn't carry them in store, order the 2 sizes closest to what you are through the Kohl's in store kiosk and they will ship them to you at home for free. Then just return the size that doesn't fit. They are great about returns and make it easy to find what you need. I hope they work for you!

You made me laugh out loud with your Easter miracle. Please don't add that you "rolled away the stone"

Or I will probably pee my pants... Actually. That is one of the greatest parts of losing so much.... No more leakage.

Hope everyone found their eggs? ???

Ok. Went to the stores to, and lo and behold, ONCE AGAIN I am BETWEEN sizes!! This is a good thing, but very frustrating.....SOOOOOO, I decided HEY! I am going to reward myself for every ten pounds I lose!!!! YIPEE! Since I couldn't legitimately purchase clothes that were too big or too small, with nothing fitting in between, I TOOK CONTROL of the situation and told myself "All is not lost, you should have a treat"! So I bought a bag. Oh, she is pretty, and I deserve it! I will set aside money every month, to be able to buy something special for those ten long-lost pounds. And when it is all said and done, I WILL NEED A NEW CLOSET!!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
