Question on returning to work after surgery

I am scheduled for surgery on Wed. May 27th. I work part time at a very low stress job where I basically sit for 4 hours. Is it reasonable for me to return to work on the following Monday - 5 days after surgery?

I took a week off had surgery on 2/27 back at work on 3/9 I kind of wish I would have taken a couple more days off. I sit behind a desk for 8 hours a day and by the end of the first day I was tired and ready to go home. By Wed of that week I was good to go so in retrospect I should have taken a couple more days off. Oh well live and learn :)

I went back on day 7. I was tired, but not in pain. I was glad to get dressed and get out of the house : )

I went back a lil over a week after. I wore myself out
