Frustrated

I started the process for gastric sleeve the last of December. I have everything completed-blood work-psych evaluation-dietitian. Waiting for pre-op when the doctors office calls. The hospital he does surgery at is not a "Center for Medical Excellence". So everything has been put on hold. I am so ready to give up. They assured me the first visit that everything was great with my insurance. I have been trying to have this surgery for a very long time. The one time I see the light at the end of the tunnel it burns out. :((

So can't you have your paper work transfered over to another surgeon who does operate at a Center for medical excellence and keep the ball rolling?

Well hopefully you won't have to. Don't give up! I know it sucks but you've come this far right?!

Don't stop until you find a surgeon and hospital that is accepted by your insurance. It took me 15 years to find an insurance company that would even consider covering the surgery. But I finally found it and it saved my life!! DON'T STOP UNTIL YOU GET THE SURGERY!!!!
