Maryland newbie - pre-op and need a mentor

In the pre-op process, just waiting to complete the nutrition counseling so I can get scheduled. Have lots of questions and a bit nervous.

    I'm a few months late to this thread, but I'm in MD and set to have surgery on June 16th. What part of MD? I'm near DC.
