May Sleevers...where are you?
Hi everyone, I was sleeved on the 22nd and just now feel up to getting on computer. I am so TIRED.... I don't have much pain, but I bled through the surgical glue on my incisions and made a huge mess of my bed. Other than that, I am doing ok. I walk every hour or so and I have been 'eating' almost normally. Not much room, but I have been getting the fluids in. My pain is managable for the most part - now waiting to see some some results from this procedure. Everyone who is not sleeved yet - it's not that bad, just do what the doc says - WALK! Bet of luck for those not sleeved yet. Debi

May Sleevers...where are you?
Ok, so today is the big day, surgery with Dr. Brebbia this morning at 1130! Scared, nervous, and excited - wish me luck! On a side note - nervous because I have had terrible post nasal drip from the pollen and I have started coughing. But I am worried they'll turn me away. I did call them to check and I don't have a fever, but still worried.

May Sleevers...where are you?
I went to the grocery store today to shop for my post-op diet. OMG!! All I could think of when I was in the store and looking at things was "well I will never get to eat that again..." "I wish I had eaten that before getting on the pre-op diet..." "how will I live without eating those again?" What an ordeal! Has anyone else experienced this? It made me want to cancel my surgery! Help - comments appreciated.

- May Sleevers...where are you?
I just got my call from the hospital, to get prepped for surgery next Fri (5/22). Yesterday was pre-op check with doc and labs. It's really real! I got my surgery time (1130am), so at least I don't have to be at the hospital at the crack of dawn (I'm over an hour away). Liquid diet is going ok so far (day 7). I've lost a couple of pounds. One thing I'm worried about is how soon I have to exercise. I need to get some weight off first so I can walk without pain. My mom is taking me and I am going home with her since I live alone. Is there anyone in Maryland getting sleeved? Wish me luck - I'm getting a bit nervous!- May Sleevers...where are you?
Hi, I'm starting liquid diet Monday! Surgery date is May 22. Excited, but so nervous!- Surgery is in March - 42 yo Female --right at 200lbs to lose -- looking for buddy

Hi, I just finished my last class yesterday and I am hoping for a May date. Now I'm getting nervous but I'm excited too. I would love to have some support and buddies to share the journey.- Seeking Friend: Approx. 08/15 sleeve
Hi, I'm going to have surgery in May or June and I am looking for a buddy. I'm 5'2" and my high weight that made me decide to have the sleeve was 325lbs with a BMI of 58. I'm down to 312lbs and just finished my classes, so I'm waiting for approval and a surgery date. If you would like to buddy up, let me know!
