New to Site-can a post be deleted? Note to self (review post before submitting).

I typed the wrong date in my prior post saying my surgery was March 25th really it is March 24th. Can a post be deleted. I don't want to be annoying :) I reposted with the correct date because I could not figure out how to delete the first post. Any help is appreciated!
