My Hernia/LapBand surgery is scheduled for Friday March 20, 2015 ! So very excited. Flying to Dallax, TX from St. Louis, MO for the surgery. I can't believe True Results St. Louis/Dallas is making this happen for me! Just curious if anyone out there has had Dr. Benavides as a surgeon for the LapBand. Also on day 6 of my pre-op diet and it really sucks!! I just need to stay motivated and know that this is all for my better and that it will all be worth it one day.

Hi, how long did it take from your initial consultation to your EGD(I think thats what its called) to check for Hernia and for them to schedule to actual surgery? Im still waiting for a call back to schedule to check for hernia. Its going on a month now. Happy to hear your getting surgery! Are you going through the sleeve hernia program? I am going through True Results in Richardson for my sleeve surgery. I just got approved through insurance and am waiting on TR to call to schedule the surgery. Should be less than a month now. Yay! Best of luck to you.

I had my surgery 3/6/15, I'm from St. Louis and flew to Texas and had Dr. Benavides, I'm 12 days post/op and feel great!! The airplane ride home was pretty rough the next day but that's really my only complaint. Good luck I'm sure you will do great!!!
