Just one week out of Surgery

I had my gastric sleeve surgery a week ago and maybe I am the exception but I did not have a lot of the side effects that I have read about on here or on You Tube Documentaries.

I have had no nausea at all and no pain to amount to much. I have had three spinal fusions and have had chronic back pain for 10 years so pain is nothing new to me. I have had no difficulty in swallowing but my diet is still liquid until the 11th of March. I have to admit I am pretty much tired of no solid foods but that is coming.

I keep waiting for something to happen but so far this has been as good or better than I expected for just being a week out.

In three weeks I have lost 30 libs which I dont guess is too bad.

Love this forum..

sounds great, I had a fairly similar experience, and am grateful for that. in my first week I used to get hungry but not able to have more liquid because it just sucked, but I had as much Water as I could.

I lost the first thirty pounds very quickly, it's very motivating but I always have to remind myself not to get pissed off because eight is not going to drop as fast in the coming weeks.

Good luck with the rest of your journey.
