I use cetaphil for my body and hyaluronic acid and a oil of olay moisturizer for my face. Hyaluronic acid holds 1000 times its weight in Water (seriously locking in moisture.)

1) Wash face with a gental cleanser

2) pat dry (but not too much you will need your face to be damp)

3) Apply hyaluronic acid to lock in the moisture/water on your face.

4) Apply moisturizer

5) Apply sunscreen

You can get hyaluronic acid on Amazon for $10-20. Some people buy a formula infused with Vitamin C as well.

I put oils in my bath! I've used all of the following at one time or another: avocado oil, apricot oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, olive oil. They all work great! Just a tablespoon and soak several times a week. It does wonders for winter skin!

I use a lot of coconut oil. I coat my face and neck in coconut oil and let it soak in then I wash in the shower and wash my face with a gentle cleanser (I use Philosophy brand) then when I am clean I smooth coconut oil over my body while still damp then I pay dry. After face is clean I use oil of olay Regenerist and then rub rose hip oil around my eye area. So far skin is moist and no extra wrinkles.

I use coconut oil (i buy cold pressed virgin oil since I also use it to cook with) or shea butter on my face. On my body I use baby oil gel head to toe. I shower, pat dry so skin is just barely damp. Then apply baby oil gel generously. I have extremely dry skin so by the time I am getting dressed my body has absorbed most of it so I'm not greasy. On my incisions I use Scarfade Gel at night and bio oil in the day.

I also use coconut oil for my body. It makes a huge difference. I can't bring myself to try it on my face though. My face is extremely dry and sensitive, but I do also break out regularly. My favorite face moisturizer of all time is DML SPF 25 face lotion. http://www.amazon.com/DML-Daily-Facial-Moisturizer-SPF/dp/B000052YN5

I worked in a dermatology practice for over 5 years and this is one of their top moisturizers. It has hialuronic acid too which helps with aging. The packaging is absolutely outdated, but the lotion is amazing. It is thick and creamy but not greasy and absorbs quickly. It doesn't make my face burn nor breakout and it sits well under makeup. Lol, I truly don't have any sales stake in this product, I just love it that much. 3 tubes last me a bit over a year. I spent a lot of money on face lotion only to hate them and give them away. I hope you find one that works for you!

Philosophy! I swear by it. Have been using it for years and it keeps my skin smooth and nice. I use hope in a jar and miracle worker. I also use their face wash and it does a great job of removing makeup and also softening skin.

At night I use 4 drops Loreal's age perfect glow renewal with Neutragena ageless essentials night moisturizer. In the morning I use Neutragena's daily moisturizer spf35, with 2 drops of Loreal's glow renewal. I wash my face twice a day with Neutragena's fresh foaming cleanser.

I use palmers cocoa butter formula on my body twice a day. If my body is extraordinarily dry, I will use good old vasoline before bed :)

California girl here. I wonder about SPF. My GP said that we really need to amp it up on our facial moisturizers. #15 is really not enough for anyone anymore. Other than Luvin_life, no one has mentioned SPF. I use Cere Ve. It has 30 spf.

I have to admit in the winter I am not as obsessive about sunblock as I am in the spring/ summer. I do use a foundation with SPF protection year round but in the summer I use regular sunblock either over my moisturizer if I am barefaced or instead of a moisturizer if I am wearing foundation.

I really like the Cera Ve product line. The body cream is especially rich and kind to my sensitive skin.

I have been using the CeraVe, as well, and that huge tub of cream is very inexpensive and the best cream I have ever used (and I have used many over the years). I actually use that cream on my face if I am not going to be outside that day. If I am outside, I use the Neutragena Visably Even with the sunscreen in it. BUT keep it away from your eyes...wicked stuff in the eyes (can melt a little, thus working it's way toward the eyes). The great thing about the CeraVe is that it truly DOES last all day...I have to wash it off at night before I put on the night dose. You can feel it, like it was just applied, almost slide off! Great stuff, versions I have seen are the cream, day lotion with sunscreen, night lotion, and a facial wash, plus hand lotions. All found at Walmart.< /p>

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
