How soon can my husband & I be intimate?

I know this sounds supid... are there any restrictions on intimacy? I've been home 2 weeks, and feel fine. I never asked my doctor this, and I won't see him till Friday. Any advice?

I am glad that I am not the only one thinking about these things, but I have another question. In terms of "types" of sexual intimacies, now that my stomach is smaller, are there other restrictions of what can go in there and how would it affect me if at all? I hope you all understand what I mean, without my having to be too graphic... Any help would be appreciated. Mahalo....

8 weeks is the craziest thing I've ever heard, seriously, they only told me 6 weeks after my C-Section and that was MUCH closer to the area than where the lapband and incisions will be.
