I suggest calling your surgeon's office and having the doctor on call paged. You are so early in the recovery period and need to keep from becoming dehydrated. Ask the doc on call to call in a prescription for something to help with the nausea and/or vomiting. Also, find out at what point of not keeping any fluids down should you return to the hospital for IV fluids. Dehydration comes quickly in the early post op recovery and you can deteriorate very fast. It is best to catch it early and get some fluids through the iv. Please keep us posted and I hope you feel better soon!

Get in to your doctors office.

I would contact your surgeon immediately. Vomiting is not good. My doctor wrote me something for nausea which has helped tremendously.
