@@Spicy06 I'm on day 5 of my liquid diet. Not gonna lie....day 3 was rough. I was very...angry...is the nice way to put it! Lol! Now I'm ok. I don't get hungry and i feel like I have energy. I think the excitement of knowing what's to come helps override any hunger...at least it does for me! Well that and sleep. I go to bed super early so I don't get hungry. Don't worry! You'll do great!

  • I just got some disappointing news today. My Doctor decided he needed to take 3 weeks off. Which, it just so happens to fall right when my surgery was scheduled. Now, I'm rescheduled for March 24th. Also...I have already started the pre-surgery diet...grrr. Which means I'm on it a week longer. I hope I have the strength to stay on it. The 1,000 calories or less per day is very hard on my poor old brain. Everyone around me is going to have to deal with me being ditzy for one more week.

Getting close to my surgery date and I'm so nervous! The funny thing is that I'm not as nervous about the surgery as I am the anesthesia. I've never been put under general anesthesia.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
