(Ferrous fumarate) Iron : how many mg do you take ? Does it have Vit C too?

I take 18 mg of iron and 36 mg of vit C once a day. Is that enough? I also take the sub-lingual B12. What do you take? I have been feeling dizzy and out of breath and can barely walk 30 min a day without exhaustion when I was use to walking an hour a day . I am 2 and a half months out. Help

The next time you see your surgeon, you should get your bloodwork done, you may be low in iron and or other vitamins and miberals

I am trying to deal with anemia right now, my paperwork from my 1yr labs got hidden in some other stuff. I started having all kinds of issues and went to the dr. yesterday. I'm on Hemocyte plus till my new labs come back next week. I have to take 2 a day and they've got over 300mg of iron. I don't want an IV infusion but I don't want to end up in the hospital either. If you've not had new blood panels done on your next visit I would strongly INSIST that they do that because it's better to keep things up and going smoothly instead of waiting until things go "south".
