Hello everyone! I have struggled with my weight for almost 12 years now. I've been married for that long now and have 5 beautiful children. I currently weigh 250.5 lbs and I'm so excited to be finally on the right path to being healthy! My surgeon is Dr. Michael Seger from the BMI of Texas in San Antonio. He is awesome! I have elected to get the sleeve. I have Highmark BCBS of Texas and do have to have 6 visits with the nutritionist before the insurance will approve my surgery. So i'm looking to get sleeved sometime in July! So excited and anxious! Woohoo! Looking forward to meeting wonderful people and forming new friendships along the way!!!

Welcome! This is a wonderful site. You will learn a lot. I started my journey in August 2014, currently completing the 6 months of classes required by my insurance. I too am expecting (hoping) to have my surgery sometime this summer.
