That's great! I have that reaction to food a lot lately. I have not tried those protein shakes. I tried premier protein but I could not stomach the taste. I like muscle milk.

I am also scheduled to have the VSG on September 2nd! I also start my pre-op diet today and I am also anxious about the surgery. My pre-op diet is also 2 protein shakes and I small low card high protein meal a day until 24 hours before surgery then it's 3 protein shakes.

Hello everyone! I have struggled with my weight for almost 12 years now. I've been married for that long now and have 5 beautiful children. I currently weigh 250.5 lbs and I'm so excited to be finally on the right path to being healthy! My surgeon is Dr. Michael Seger from the BMI of Texas in San Antonio. He is awesome! I have elected to get the sleeve. I have Highmark BCBS of Texas and do have to have 6 visits with the nutritionist before the insurance will approve my surgery. So i'm looking to get sleeved sometime in July! So excited and anxious! Woohoo! Looking forward to meeting wonderful people and forming new friendships along the way!!!

I know this was long ago bit I wanted to add that I'm just beginning this journey with Dr. Seger and his wonderful staff who have been nothing but professional and knowledgeable. He comes highly recommended by not 1, not 2, but 3 co-workers. One had her surgery in 2009 and she raves about both doctors at BMI. I'm so excited!
