My name is Brittney and I am 25 years old.I live in northern viriginia. I am currently in the evaluation stage for getting my gastric sleeve. I have Kaiser insurance which requires everyone to go through a six month evaluation. It consists of a lot of test and nutrition classes, surgery preperation classes, and you must lose 3% of your current body weight when you first start the program. I started my program febuary 19th and I was 245lbs. My highest weight was 263lbs. I am currently 240lbs. The weight I must be before the 6 month period to qualify for surgery is 238lbs. I am very close. Since embarking this journey and through the test that are required by the surgeon I have found out that I have sleep apnea and high blood pressure. I already had cronic back pain do to my weight.
