I am 2 days post op and have a low grade fever and neck pain on the left side.

Is this something to be worried about.

Your surgeon should have given you instructions regarding symptoms to watch out for. A fever is one of them. Have you given them a call? Also, the neck pain could be trapped gas and walking should help. But irregardless, you will feel better after calling your surgeon. Feel better

I also had a low grade fever two days post op. I called my surgeon and he told me to take tylenol and monitor. It was gone by the next morning. Don't worry, but call the surgeon for instructions.

Low grade fever is common. I ran 99 for the first night. It went away after that. I took acetaminophen. The neck pain could be from the intubation. I woke up with my neck hurting too and sores in the roof of my mouth from the tube that was stuck down my throat. That all subsided within a week.
