I did OK over the weekend. Stayed on target with my calories.

Didn't get my exercise in and fell short on my Water intake. I could soooo tell it this morning. You know that swelled feeling in your hands when you wake up, yep that was me today so time to refocus and get back at it.

Today I WILL get my Water in

I WILL not go over my calorie target of 1300 for the day

I WILL do some form of exercise

24 flights of stairs. Check.

Breakfast and lunch 493 calories so far. Check.

40 oz Water so far. Check.

If I get home in time from the surgeon's office tonight, I'm going to try my first Zumba class. I've taken Aqua Zumba before, but never on land. This will be hysterical since I have zero coordination.

Feeling inspired to exercise!!!

Well I planned to NOT get a fill today but changed my mind after talking to my NP. I gained two pounds since my last visit in December. So I got 0.1 put in again, bringing me to 7.7 in my 14cc band. I watched the fluoro and the barium still went through pretty easily after the fill. I also always take two Tylenol caplets while she does the fluoro to make sure I can still swallow pills. After talking to her I realized I've been getting hungrier earlier between meals. Not by much, but an hour does make a difference. So another tiny fill it is. On liquids now for 48 hours. I also asked about my loosey goosey port. She said it's not loose at all. It's still securely sutured to the muscle. I just have less fat under the skin and the skin is moving around more. Makes sense. Anyway I feel good about the fill and now I'm off to a Zumba class. Exercise, so they tell me, is the key to lasting weight loss. Who knew?

@@s_suther is completely hard core. Me 340 step ups and 45 minutes walking extra at work. On the way home I stopped and walked a bike path in the next town over from my town. Kudos to the parks dept for having trail cleared of snow. Walked for 37 minutes. Meals were on target. Water was plentiful. I am trying to get motivated to get 15 minutes on the elliptical. Having a case of lazy rear syndrome. Home for the next 2 days and hanging with my bride and our offspring. Have a good evening..

Had an unfill. Yesterday she put in .5 and today she removed .4. She was going for .3 but took out a little much. As bad as I felt last night I told her I was fine with that! I already feel so much better!! Did not get exercise in so hopefully I will be back at it tomorrow!

@@JustWatchMe - hope that fill helps with the hunger and I'm super glad your port is safe & secure. Is it in you abdomen? I ask because my surgeon put mine in my chest.

@@bacon - not hard core by a long shot, I just do what Leslie Sansone tells me to do. ???? Sounds like you pounded some walking today too!

@@enjoythetime - glad you had a successful day! That accountability goes both ways, so give me a kick anytime it's necessary.

@@2babutterfly - hope that small unfill does the trick!

Okay, just stopped by to check on everybody. Have a wonderful evening!

My port is on my abdomen, upper left.

Went to Zumba. Oh my God. I am so frickin uncoordinated. Also my knees are now killing me. I stayed after to talk to the instructor. She suggested Zumba Gold which is less intense. So I may seek out a Gold class. This may end up being kinda like my bike experiment. At 50 pounds down I tried riding a bike. My knees screamed in pain. At 75 pounds down I tried again. Much better. So maybe another 20 down and my knees might do better with Zumba. But no matter how thin I get I will never be able to dance or learn the routines. It's just how I'm built. However, I will see how I feel by Monday and if my knees are not hurting too much tomorrow after this class, I may try the Gold class.

923 calories, 24 flights of stairs, one Zumba class. A good day.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
