Band removal (stretched S shaped esophagus) 3 mo wait for sleeve

Having my band out Feb 19th here in the states $6,000. It's encapsulated. Then at least three month healing time before having a sleeve. What's the healing like? I have a stretched esophagus (S shaped), anyone have that issue??? US price for sleeve... $20,000! I'm self pay! What's the weather like in Tijuana in June ????

    I don't have a esophagus issue so I can't speak on that but the sleeve (for me) took about a week before I was back in business. I have insurance that paid for all mine but the bill was 39,000+ ridiculous! Good luck with your surgery! I've read A lot of good post about Mexico. If I didn't have it covered by insurance I would have went that was my plan b.
