I was banded in 2003. Had a slip, then repair, then replacement. I had my band removed Feb of 2015.  I had extreme reflux to where I was waking up choking in the middle of the night. I was aspirating and the burn in my lungs was terrible! I hated going to sleep for fear that I would wake up choking in the night. Will be doing a gastric sleeve Sept 2nd. It's been up and down through out my journey. I am really looking forward to losing the weight I have seemed to have found again.
