I've been battling my weight for the last 25 years. I have been able to lose fairly easy until a few years ago but as I age it gets harder to lose and even harder to keep off. I don't have the best gene pool and have come to the realization my life will always revolve around issues related to weight. I decided to take this drastic step to improve the quality and quantity of life. I have a great support system encouraging me through this journey and I'm finally excited about what the future can hold.
