2 yrs 3 months post op, gaining weight back going on to RNY

Well I am 2 years 3 months since my surgery. Over the last 6 months I have slowly started to gain weight back. I am have horrible GERD issues and have not been able to get off the meds that we thought I would. Frustrating.

I have talked to my surgeon and we are going to do the conversation from VGS to RNY. Has anyone else done this? Results?

Thanks!

Wishing you the best of luck! I'm 3 years out and have gained some weight back, trying to get back on track.

Sounds like the malabsorption could help. Right after my surgery I wondered if I should have given more consideration to bypass.
