UTI - Worst. Timing. Ever.

After over a year of warming up, I am finally nine days from surgery. And now, for the first time in nearly a decade, I have developed a UTI (bladder infection). I'm fresh home from the weekend walk-in clinic with a 3-day course of antibiotics in hand that should clear it up. But even the thought that this might turn out to be a major infection or resistant to antibiotics, and they cancel my surgery because of a stupid bladder infection, is enough to make me lose my mind.
