Dec 30 Date!

I'm starting clear liquids today. I am really excited about my new journey. I am anxious about the surgery, having dreams about it all night long. I will be happy when that part is over. Any advice on anything you wish you had known going in, either for the hospital or first weeks home?

get up and walk after surgery! I did that at the hospital, but not at home for a few weeks. I wish I would of, but I was afraid to hurt. Good luck! I had surgery oct 27, down 60 lbs. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat

Thank you for your advice @@Samantha Ann. 60 lbs how amazing!! Happy New Year!

You are going to have an amazing year ahead of you. By the end of 2015 you will be a whole different person! Walking after surgery is the only way to stop the pain from the gas. And to make sure you don't get any blood clots.

If the pain meds don't work, ask for something else. I only had pain from the gas, surgery site was bruised but not very painful. Happy and thin new year!
