One thing I'm worried about is that I haven't practiced small bites, small sips, or eating slowly, at all. I'm a major gulper. I have been known to down a whole bottle of water at once. I eat fast, and I'm an over eater. Well maybe over eater isn't fair, I think my stomach has always been larger, my whole life. I have been drinking shakes for like a year and I always down them. Just want to drink it and be done. Ive just always been that way. Anyway, since I haven't practiced, I'm probably in for a rude awakening. Just being honest here.

I'm scheduled for Jan 15 also....the liquid preop diet was pretty hard to follow over the weekend ...but lucky I'm back at work today so hopefully the next three days will be easier since I have work to keep me distracted ...good luck to everyone on the journey to a better u!

You're so right--it's so much easier to stay on that liquid diet when you're distracted! I'm glad there's only 2 days left for me...and then post-op liquid diet, ha! Is it possible to die from whey overdose?! :)

CAN'T WAIT TO GET THAT CALL ON WEDNESDAY TELLING ME WHAT TIME TO BE AT THE HOSPITAL. I'M KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED THAT I WILL BE EARLY. AFTER ALL, I DESERVE IT AFTER ALL I'VE BEEN THRU IN THIS JOURNEY, LOL JK. I'LL TAKE WHATEVER TIME I GET WITH A SMILE & APPRECIATION FOR THIS BLESSING!

Starting liquid diet tomorrow hope it's easier them it sounds! Gonna stay positive and just know it was make surgery smoother and less complications, that's my motivation :)

Good luck all surgery scheduled 7am 1/27

You got that right! :( But I also think any amount of time until the actual surgery is a long time!! :o I am going around cleaning my house and getting last minute things and going crazy!

Hey @@mommyoftwogirls! So excited to have buddies! I'm not nervous...at the moment anyway. I can't believe it's finally so close seems like I've waited an eternity. 10 months is pretty close to eternity in wls world anyway ha.

I've got to do some cleaning tonight but I'm running a little low on energy. I know I've been preparing for months and now I don't want to do the finishing touches haha

Hey everyone! Three more nights and two more days! How many of you already have your scheduled time to be at the hospital?

You too sweetie! :D

530 am! The 19th. Final pre op Appt tomorrow. At least I work all week.

Good luck everyone.

The surgeons office told me that my surgery was scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and that I had to be at the hospital at 8:00 a.m. But at pre-admission testing at the hospital they said it could change. They would call the night before. The hospital is an hour and 15 minutes away. My family are going up Wednesday night to sleep at a hotel near the hospital. :D
