Any one have their sleeve done at madigan? If so do you have any advice.

I have. I'm about 8 weeks out and everything went according to plan. I had doctor carter who was excellent. Are you on the Madigan Facebook group? That is a great source of info if you are not.

I don't have a Facebook :/ well congrats on that. I hope all was good. What steps did you take? Was tricare a pain in the behind? Also, how long did it take for your approval and surgery date? <3

No, but I was born there and they did a good job keeping me and mom alive! lol

I had to go through the 6 month class that they have for the bariatric program. I had to go through the navy before I could go through Madigan so it was a bit different for me. You had to show you were losing weight and see a dietician and get approvals through them your pcm and a psychologist before you can see the surgeon. As long as you follow the program it goes smoothly. It took me 10 months to be approved but the navy jerked me around not Madigan.

Well maybe it will be different since u had to go through the navy. But I guess we will see. :/
