Heartburn but able to tolerate food.

I already have an appointment for tomorrow morning but last week I noticed it felt like a golf ball in the back of my throat. I learned that is a sign of reflux. So I started eating softies, now today I feel actual heartburn. Obviously I'm too tight. My last full was in March. Anyone else have this happen?

I went in and had all but 1cc taken out. Half of what was in. The heartburn was pretty bad for two days. It feels better now I'm sticking with soft and liquid foods. My esophagus still feels a little sore. The doctor did not think I had a slip so I wondered if anyone else took some time to heal after an incident like this.
