W - Congratulations!!!! That's amazing! I noticed from your website that you were born in London. I had the pleasure of living in London for the better part of a year in the late 90s. My time there was wonderful, and I miss it dearly...

Well, I got my wish and was able to get out and ride tday!

It was 62, winds were 25 miles and hour steady...and gusting to 35....needless to say it was a hell of a work out. Average speed was not near as good as usual, but it felt good to be back on it. I had long underwear on under bike shorts, long underwear shirt under a hoodie, a hat and than my hat on the hoodie.

WE went to the bottom of the spill way wear there is a track, and we (my daughter and I ) alternated walking and jogging...first time ever I have jogged since grade school and high school.

It was a half mile track, so we did the jog/walk 1 time, and rode one time.

It was great to be back out....and I seriously cant wait until I get my new bike....wooohooooo

Anyway, just wanted to share...

One thing.....being off the bike since late October......it sucks starting all over....:)

Hi kids.

The dinner party went really well. We cooked and drank wine and had a very good time.

W- Great Job!

HP- Happy birthday to you!:happybday2: I love the family challenges. Keep us posted. And IMHO you shouldn't give John any slack. He should shoot for -20 too!

BG- We all know you're the sex toy, BJ queen on southwest Michigan. I for one am not surprised.

ZZ-I too think majic bullet = sex toy, everytime I use mine (the blender) I giggle. You did well with Grandma's food. That sounds pretty reasonable.

TX-Howdy, girl!

B- Sorry to hear about your pup. I feel you on the paper. Sometimes half assed is better than no ass at all. It's better than dumb ass or even smart ass in the situation.

D-I know you're out living life. XO

Oh, and I ran RAN for a solid 40 minutes today in the 53 degree, moist weather... I'll be ready for my 5K in February. I'm stoked. And I've lost two more pounds. (If I see the number twice on the scale I call it real.) So woo hoo.

And...jeez, it's a freaking book already, I'm off to Whole Foods here shortly. Happy Day.

HP glad you got out there to ride. It was 43 and rainy here but warm and clear enough for me to get out for a 4 miles walk this afternoon. It felt SO GOOD to not be couped up inside a gym.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
